The Monday Morning Catch-Up
The bottleneck
You start the week buried in emails, Teams messages, and meeting notes from Friday. By the time you're caught up, it's lunch.
“Summarize all emails I received since Friday 5 PM. Group them by: (1) requires my action, (2) FYI only, (3) can ignore. For action items, draft a one-line response I can edit and send.”
Why this works
Most "summarize my emails" prompts give you a wall of text. This one forces Copilot to triage by urgency and pre-draft replies — cutting your Monday morning from 90 minutes to 15.
Implementation tip
Run this prompt first thing Monday, then immediately follow up with Prompt #2 to prepare for your week's meetings. The two together replace the entire "getting back up to speed" ritual.
